I have always had a special love for Father Aloyisus....MY husband of almost 40 years passed this October. In his youth he was a Seminarian at Silver Peak and Dominguez Seminaries...His wish was to become a Claritian Priest....but due to family hardship had to leave.....he never really got over this sadness....but much later married and our family total is near 30 of us! Tony....left the year Father Aloyisus came to Dominguez...but heard many stories from alumni friends over the years.....I have read all his biographies....I think he is truly a saint already......I am a religious artist.....and am making some art wrk of him.....if you need artwork involved with his beatification cause ....I would be glad to help...no charge!

Fr. Aloysius was Spiritual Director to my own Father in the early 1960 to 64 in Phoenix Az. My Father Reyes Maria Ruiz Sr. loved the Blessed Mother Mary very much equal to Fr Aloysius love, but what he taught my Father was the of love Jesus in the Blessed Sacroment. This inspired my Fr. Reyes to go to Mass daily form there on. Before he passed away five years ago he went to Mass daily for 45 years. This is what most is important then anything else he learned because he passed this on to us his 7 childern and his wife Estela. We almost all go to Mass daily for 10 years now.
If you truly know Fr. Aloysius then this should be the most important lesson he would of taught you or others for he truly loved Jesus in the Blessed Sacroment. This was Fr. Aloysius true gift to the world to spread the Love of Jesus in the Holy Euchrist.
