"My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist" - A Letter by Father Aloysius

May, 1971

My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist,

On the 28th of this month of May, I interviewed the Most Reverend Father Anthony Leghisa, C.M.F., the Superior General of our Claretian congregation. After his examining most carefully all my petitions he was most paternal and most generous in granting every petition. New we all must consider and believe that this is the work of God, because we have the full approval of the supreme… Continue

What A Wonderful Afternoon for "The Friends of Father Aloysius"

What a wonderful afternoon we enjoyed today at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Covina, California. After reciting the Holy Rosary, we shared with those present our recent trip to Fatima, Portugal where we met with Norman Servais for upcoming documentary film on Father Aloysius. Then we reviewed the message of the Angel of Portugal who appeared to the three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1916 - one year before the apparitions of Our Lady in 1917. Finally, the participants called… Continue

Memories of a Community of Holy Observance

The following link will take you to a letter which Father Aloysius wrote to St. Margret Mary, S.S.C.M. in Kankakee, Illinois. In this letter Father Aloysius makes reference to:

1. Sr. Mary Mediatrix as the greatest gift to "your Province from the Merciful love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus."

2. The community in St. Patrick's Academy in Momence, Illinois ... with great examples in their observance of the… Continue

St. Anthony Mary Claret's Statue Location Is Privileged

At the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima, the statue of Saint Anthony Mary Claret is located on the right hand side of the main altar dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. St. Anthony Mary Claret was the perfect forerunner of the message of Our Lady of Fatima. He was canonized a saint in 1950 and the basilica was consecrated in October, 1953.

Answered Prayer

A friend gave me permission to post her answered prayer because she does not have access to e-mail. She has a niece who, as she put it, went missing. No one in the family knew where she was and she had not contacted any of them.

I suggested to my friend that we ask Father Aloysius to ask the angels to find the niece and return her to the family. I also suggested that if the niece is found, we put the answered prayer on the Father Aloysius website.

When I saw my friend recently, about… Continue

Apparitions of the Angel

Apparitions of the Angel

First Apparition

In the spring of 1916, three shepherd children, LUCIA DOS SANTOS, aged ten, JACINTA MARTO, aged seven, and her brother FRANCISCO MARTO, aged nine, saw an Angel while they were tending their family’s flock of sheep near their home, at a place called “Loca do Cabeço”. After having lunch and saying their prayers, the three little children saw a light above the trees that stretched away… Continue

The Third Secret of Fatima by Sister Lucia of Coimbra

The third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria, Fatima, on 13 July 1917.

I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out… Continue

Once while having breakfast with Archbishop Juan Jesus Posadas in 1991, we were discussing the archbishop's recent trip to Italy. Archbishop Posadas was the archbishop who ordained me a priest in 1989. He had just returned from Naples with another diocesan priest, Fr. Rafael Urribe. They were both present at the Mass in honor of St. Januarius, celebrated yearly on his feast day, September 19th.

Archbishop Juan Jesus related how he saw the miracle of the blood of St. Januarius, the… Continue
