"My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist" - A Letter by Father Aloysius

May, 1971

My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist,

On the 28th of this month of May, I interviewed the Most Reverend Father Anthony Leghisa, C.M.F., the Superior General of our Claretian congregation. After his examining most carefully all my petitions he was most paternal and most generous in granting every petition. New we all must consider and believe that this is the work of God, because we have the full approval of the supreme authority of the Claretian Fathers.

Our most Reverend Father General is going to be in Fatima in the month of October as well as Mr. John Haffert and I. There we will discuss and settle all about your future home and monastery by the grounds of the Cova de Iria where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917.

It gives me an untold and I might say eternal joy, this approval from our Father General. It also awakens in me such an immense gratitude to God in the person of my Most Reverend Father General. All the prayers that we said for Father General have been answered most favorably. I see him enlightened in the most charismatic way by the Holy Spirit. True light illuminates his mind and true fortitude strengthens his will.

My dear children, from now on and forevermore, you aim is life is to rub shoulders with our own holy father, Saint Atony Mary Claret, on the holy grounds of Fatima in his perpetual, perennial adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament and in his matchless love for the Blessed Mother as her best forerunner and precursor of her message in Fatima in its full dimensions.

My dear children, I congratulate you with all my heart for your loftiest vocation, at the same time to be Claretian and the chaplains of our Blessed Mother in Fatima and the soul of the Blue Army with its 20 million members. Each one of you, my dear children, aim high for your entire life, as high as you can in your love for the most Holy Eucharist and in your love for the Immaculate Heart of Mary who shows her heart surrounded with thorns.

Let each one of you be angels of consolation to her and she will prepare you to be seraphs in human flesh for the Blessed Sacrament and all that appertains to It by adoring Him by day and by night when It be solemnly exposed in the Basilica of Fatima.

Hold on to your lofty vocation and your reward will be exceedingly great. Your achievements will be my own supreme achievement in life and one of my greatest consolation in heaven. Let us increase each moment our love for Saint Antony Mary Claret, for the Immaculate Heart of Our Blessed Mother and the Most Blessed Sacrament of the altar.

Praise, adoration, love and thanksgiving be every moment given to the most Holy Eucharist, surrounded by the Blessed Mother and lall the angels and saints. Each one of you be a seraph of love for the Holy Eucharist, a perfect son and tireless captain of the Blue Army and most devoted royal chaplain for our Blessed Mother of Fatima, Queen of the Universe. This is your holy vocation. This is your glorious call.

Hail, Mary; virgin Mother and Queen, I consecrate myself thoroughly to thy Immaculate Heart. For the honor and glory of thy purity, charity and power, I offer thee my soul and body, my faculties and senses, all that i am, all that I have. I plead the perennial intercession of thy spiritual presence to free me from all evil and to be always open to every inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Holy Mary, Mother of God and my Mother, behold thy loving child. Now and forevermore, I place my complete confidence in they Immaculate Heart, and I shall never be confounded. Amen.
