Great Monarch and Father Aloysius - Parallels

I've been studying the life of Fr. Aloysius Ellacuria, CMF. Some have pointed out certain parallels in Father's life and references to the great monarch.

2. The Fleur-de-Lis as a…

Year 1971 — “The Present Crisis in the Church” by Father Aloysius Ellacuria, CMF

The following are excerpts taken from a survey in which Father Aloysius shares his insight into the “present crisis in the Church”. He wrote these words in the fall of 1971. These words are not only shocking but prophetic.

“The present crisis in the Church is a result of a lack of proper spiritual formation in the seminaries, and because of that, priests today are not as they should be. This crisis is going to become much worse because, in the present-day the seminiaries, instead… Continue

Volunteer Needed for Reel to Reel Tape Transfer

I just picked up 31 reel to reel audio tapes of Father Aloysius recorded during the 1950's. Does anyone have the capability to transfer these audio reels to digital? Please contact me if you are interested in this project. These are recordings of the early Immaculate Heart of Mary Guild meetings.

"My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist" - A Letter by Father Aloysius

May, 1971

My Dear Children in the Blessed Mother of Fatima and the Most Holy Eucharist,

On the 28th of this month of May, I interviewed the Most Reverend Father Anthony Leghisa, C.M.F., the Superior General of our Claretian congregation. After his examining most carefully all my petitions he was most paternal and most generous in granting every petition. New we all must consider and believe that this is the work of God, because we have the full approval of the supreme… Continue

What A Wonderful Afternoon for "The Friends of Father Aloysius"

What a wonderful afternoon we enjoyed today at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Covina, California. After reciting the Holy Rosary, we shared with those present our recent trip to Fatima, Portugal where we met with Norman Servais for upcoming documentary film on Father Aloysius. Then we reviewed the message of the Angel of Portugal who appeared to the three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1916 - one year before the apparitions of Our Lady in 1917. Finally, the participants called… Continue

The Third Secret of Fatima by Sister Lucia of Coimbra

J.M.J.

The third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria, Fatima, on 13 July 1917.

I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out… Continue
